it is a boot image but but boot failed and recovery worked even though its not a recovery image

i done method 2 im in twrp at the moment iv chosen the .img file and iv got a message select partition to flash image: my 2 options are boot and recovery witch 1 do i choose??

if your in the uk you can follow this and still get it im in ireland and i did not click germany and i got the update
