I somehow managed to have this happen as well... Literally just flashed this from the last oreo release, and now TWRP is gone, with stock recovery showing up. Gonna go through this whole loop later, but I am not sure what went wrong this time. EDIT: Tried to get LGUP working but download mode...

Any harm in updating to TWRP 3.3.1-2 before I flash it?

Ah, permissive, yeah I haven't set that. I had some app installed on my V10 to toggle it, but I'd rather flash it. What did you use to flash permissive?

I'm trying to make this work on my HTC 10. I installed, booted, changed the system/etc/htc_audio_effects.conf to .bak and restarted. Now V4A is just hanging and force closing. Viper4713 can you upload your htc_audio_effects.conf file so that I can try to replace mine?

Yeah I did this as a stopgap, but its working great, so I'll just keep it.

I have been getting some odd connection issues (err_connection_refused while logging into a website, xkcd.com wont load the comic, etc), both on my phone and while tethering. Is there any way to disable the adblocking to see if that is the issue? EDIT: backed up and deleted /system/etc/hosts...
