    Post Moto G 4G/LTE Stock Firmware (XT1039/40/42/45)

Folks, I have just captured the UK OTA - the file is called Blur_Version.21.11.56.peregrine_tescogb.tescogball.en.GB.zip and is 414MB in size. If someone tells me where, I am happy to upload it. I tried to install it, but since I have replaced the stock recovery it fails. If anyone can turn...

Post UK 1.2.0 Glow ONLY TFU Software Upgrade

Loney, Things that aren't working for me: * Launcher 7 settings can't be altered (changes don't "save") * apk installs are hitty-missy. Sometimes moving an apk into /data/apps and rebooting will work, other times I need to install it again by clicking on it in a file explorer. * Fast mode app...

Post UK Nook Glowlight software 1.2.0 - Don't use glownooter

Replacement Kernel Folks, Just to let you all know I have managed to install Guevor's kernel (build 166) in a UK glowlight and it works fine - multitouch is working, the glowlight switches on and off, etc. Fast mode might work, but to be honest I can't really tell any difference! After lots of...

Post uk nst vs us nst

Anyone tried "downgrading"? Hmmm, is the implication from this that it might be possible to "downgrade" to the US version of the software in order to root the device and gain the benefits of full access to android? I don't know about the other UK owners, but I have no intention of ever buying a...

Post UK Nook Glowlight software 1.2.0 - Don't use glownooter

Further to my last... if you copy the 2 "tinynoot" zips into your root directory then if you get stuck in a boot loop you can simply boot to clockwork recovery and then do a factory reset rather than a full restore. You need to reinstall tinynoot but it's better than starting from scratch. John

Post UK Nook Glowlight software 1.2.0 - Don't use glownooter

Hi Guys, Another new UK owner here. I'm no dev, but I am an incorrigible tinkerer. Just to save anyone else the trouble, don't bother trying to copy apk's into the \data\apps directory and reboot to install them - that just gets you into a boot-loop and you need to do a full restore! John

Thread Got to love Vodafone technical support!

I emailed Vodafone to tell them that signal strength in my home area had declined. I didn't think it would do any good, but at least I got a good laugh out of it. Have a read of these instructions: <Quote> Please perform hard reset to get better network coverage on your phone. To perform hard...
