Uh oh. I had the same problem when I moved from eclair to froyo. Screen would freeze and only by locking and unlocking it would it work. The only solution I had was to have Samsung repair my screen. It was done for free, but I was without a phone for a week. Sent from my SCH-I500 using xda premium

I know that some of us unlucky few have had problems with screen responsiveness and froyo. This is not the "lag" that some experience, but dead zones on the screen. The only fix is to lock and unlock the phone. In my case, the middle of the screen from top to bottom will not register touches. I...
