Bumping this thread for the time-being as I am in the exact same situation. I'll look through LineageOS roms supported model list to see if I can find the answer (if they support it.. aka there has to be a root for it). I believe that there has to be a root for it since it's Exynos-based.. but...

Seem to be having troubles granting Titanium Backup root access... it's already enabled as Apps & ADB, and I've tried to install Busybox to see if that helps with anything... both to no avail. I get the pop-up asking for root access when I open TB, then select allow, and it still fails to get...
