Post Change DPI for faster and smoother Nook HD+ with CM 10

I have been disappointed with the lag I have been experiencing with my HD+. Bought a Chromebook and this thing is quick going thru web pages. I made the adjustment to 300 DPI and my HD+ doesn't feel laggy anymore. Doesn't compare to the Chromebook for speed but a nice improvement. If you...

Post [Q] Performance Issues on both Stock and CM10.1 ROMs

Awesome,=leapinlar;49147350]That is why you did not find that option. You need to use the CWM made for stock from my HD/HD+ CWM thread. And the lag when running from SD is likely caused by the brand and class of your SD. It needs to be a SanDisk class 4. Sent from my BN NookHD+ using XDA...

Post How do we know if we have the faulty emmc?

Jann F, I have the same module as you. Do you have anything new to report? Are you still using TRIM? Is all OK with you Nook? I'm running CM 10.1.3 and had lag. Leapinlar suggested in another thread to format 'data and mediadata' thru CWM. I did this and it fixed my lag however, I had...

Post [Q] Performance Issues on both Stock and CM10.1 ROMs

Leap, Thanks for this! I did format 'data and datamedia' and this fixed the lag I have been experiencing. I had to register w/CM and it reloaded some apps from Google play and I had to re-install other apps using Apps Back-up and Restore. Not ideal having re-install periodically (monthly?) in...

After you get it booted, go to Settings>Launcher>Homescreen> then uncheck wallpaper quick render. Don't know why but, it seems to work? josim

Post [Q] When do we need to use the TRIM kernel?

laofan, I am on 10.1.3 stable and got the notification about the 10.2 M1. How did you go about your update? Was it from within 10.1.3 or via CWM and adding Gapps? Are there any noticeable improvements? Thanks!

Post [Q] NOOK HD+ with cm-10.1-emmc hangs on CyanogenMod log.

For getting caught in the boot loop try: Settings>Launcher>uncheck wallpaper quick render. This is for stock Trebuchet 1.0 Launcher. I hope the developers are aware of this. Probably coincidental but, the glitch caused by the magnetic closure on my case much better.(when you try to unlock and...

Post [Q] Can I automate/ default into the Dalvik-Cache wipe for each poweron/reboot?

Thank you sir! I have struggled with this and your suggestion seems to have cured the problem. I have spread the word in 2 other threads. Wish the developer would see this. Then, perhaps, a fix might be in the future.

    Post [Q] Nook HD+ CM10.1 Boot Loop

Just found this on a thread here. I can't find it at this time. I would really like to credit and thank the poster. I had to go into CWM and wipe dalvick cache on every boot. I have only booted once but this change seems to have fixed this issue. Firsts go into CWM and wipe dalvick cache.(...
