It happened to me in beta i guess you have to factory reset your phone and everything should be ok it worked for me just don't forget to back up your data

Im sure its a software issue because if we can manipulate frequency distortion will disappear i try to disable musice fx and installed equalizer Fx from playstore and the distortion gone way

Yh for sure as long as type a to c can deliver 15w it will do the job but not all type a to c can thats why i recommend type c to c for its capability.

Not all type c provides fast charg it needs to be type c to c also capable to provide above 15w (5v * 3A)

Try to by the lg nexus 5x it worked for me very well and im having a fast charging just like its original and to be honest from 30% to 90% in just 30 mn

I did since i dont have the original charger i bought the Nexus 5x charger wich provides type c to type c and it give out 5v * 2A which we get 15W and my pixel 2 xl charged from 0 to 100 on 60 mn
