Ubuntu phone OS has just been released (according to softpedia)

Ubuntu seems to be very sexy OS. I would love to install it on Bravo. The Ubuntu founder said that it would be very easy to install it on android mobile phone (hmm.. very easy for whome??). I use Fedora desktop now, but who knows, maybe i will switch to Ubuntu on my PC too. :)

I have the same problem. There is no signal in underground or even in elevator! I checked it with cm7 and whiterabbit. I think it doesn't depend on rom. But I believe it's software problem.

I was so happy with WhiteRabbit because of strong network signal. A couple weeks later my phone has got weak signal again... :( I have no idea what has happened. It doesn't depend on rom as skeevy420 said. But I do believe that it's software problem. May it be some power-save profile?

My carrier uses 900/1800 Mhz too, but I found that 900 MHz works just fine :) If you really need this frequencies, you can ask guys here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1052745 to add it.

Thanks. Will try different 900mhz someday :) There may be some tweaks in ROM. For example, for battery saving or signal power increasing, I guess :D Anyway, It's OK in WhiteRabbit rom now :good:

I can help you with it. Russian is one of my native languages :D. I did unlock on motofan.ru, but they have stopped to do it for free now. They ask everyone to send phone to them for unlock :( 4pda seems to unlock it for free. If you want, PM me your IMEI and I will ask them for unlock code.

Frankly, I don't remember which baseband I used with a stock Bravo. I started to worry about that after I had flashed CM7. Before CM7 I had got CM10 and the signal strength was pretty good in the Underground, but when I had flashed CM7 my phone wasn't able to connect to network. :confused: So I...
