how do you get the home, menu, back, and search buttons to appear virtually onscreen? due to some touch screen malfunctions, my evo 3d's normal buttons only work sometimes - other times they randomly don't register my touches.

For the last time, Honeycomb itself IS NOT coming to phones. It's clearly meant for tablets - just look at its UI!
That said, CERTAIN ELEMENTS of 3.0 ARE coming to the small screen - here's a good explanation...
$10 the XOOM won't ship with Swype (since it has a clean Honeycomb install). That said, I wouldn't be surprised to see:
a.) Somebody port Swype over to the XOOM.
b.) Swype create a tablet-friendly version of its keyboard that XOOM users will be able to install.
I'm none too excited about Swype...

Well SLCD tends to look better in the sunlight, but AMOLED's colors are much more accurate (especially blacks, which look a lot like blues on SLCD).
Super AMOLED is the best of both worlds - decent performance in direct light, great, vivid colors. Too bad only Samsung's Galaxy S phones have...
Meh... looks good, but honestly, it would take too much getting used to coming from the stock icons, and I'm just not sure these are worth that trouble.
I could get you some publicity if you let me have a preview copy of the Windows version - I'd love to feature this in my next edition of the Modder's Column for Android Police.
