Only for the record, I can finally share my Internet connection!! The problem was the APN type: I have added the dun type and now my wifi hotspot is working!! Edit: Thinking about it, is this a problem of an out of date...

Thanks for answering. I'm not able to surf the Internet. I can connect to the wifi hot spot. I can ping the private IP of my mobile from my laptop, but I'm not able to reach the Internet. Am I missing anything? Thanks in advance

Is wifi hot spot working? I can share the data connection of my Mi Max 2 via wifi, the clients can connect to the access point, but they can not reach the Internet. I have checked it with several client devices. I'm using UPDATE 9
