That's the thing it's not even plugged in to my computer. I've tried it both plugged and unplugged into the wall charger. It's driving me crazy cause I can't figure it out. Sometimes it works for a long time and sometimes I can't get it to tether longer than a minute or so.

tether wifi issue I have been having issues with my wifi tether dropping when the screen turns on since I updated to this rom. Also my Sprint hotspot does not work either. Has anyone else had these issues or found a fix? Thanks!

No issues for me. In fact the only reason I have update to blazer ics is because I use the hotspot hack frequently.

Thanks for the update. I was running blazer ics but I was having problems with the tethering app so I flashed back to GB. For whatever ever reason my phone only seems to like sprint wifi hotspot.

Try turning your data off. When I have meetings at my corporate office I use to have the same problem with battery drain so I would turn data off and my battery would last all day. Hope that helps!
