Raw tends to be a little softer on focus as in camera processing for jpg files apply image sharpening. Same happens on a dslr.

I reckon my Vodafone P9 will probably reach 12 months old before Android 7.x is available - and by then I'll be eligible to upgrade handsets for an extra $149. Maybe the P10 will be out then or at least the new Mate 9.

Sucks but I hope the photos are backwards compatible on the new Huawei phones like the Mate 9

Does anyone know if there's software for your PC to allow you to refocus images taken on the P9 similar to what can be done via the Android Gallery app?

Yep the multitasking lag seems to have been reduced significantly which was my biggest gripe with the previous version. Only time will tell if the lag comes back.

I flashed the stock unbranded Australian 5.1.1 ROM over the top of my stock Indian 5.0.1 ROM and seems to be working fine without a wipe. Just used Odin 3.10 without doing anything special.

It probably won't fit with the tempered glass as it is a snug fit. The case can be used all the time but makes the phone very large and heavy. You won't double the capacity due to losses in charging efficiency but should get another 70% charge.

What would be cool is if this app could somehow be modified to work with the Montblanc Pix S-Pen or any other separate Wacom stylus without requiring the Note's S-Pen to be removed from its slot. Not sure if it's possible but perhaps an offscreen gesture launch or something to that effect?

If you have troubles getting the watchface to load try uninstalling the Sony Smart Connect app and reinstalling it. It's the most common problem my users have and it generally fixes the issue.
