how about the reason it's newer and better. which is what typically comes with software updates.

be very careful with this guide, mistakes and omissions are plentiful, too many to list. starting with the broken-ass "instruction", i dont know why it doesnt mention all the way the process can go wrong, i dont understand why these guides mention what to do if youre already versed in changing...

well the very reason this was created is to download updates for people that cant do it through eta. so you're saying it worked for you to upgrade from a9 to a10? meaning, the app find the update and applied it and you didnt have to do anything else? //actually never mind.. the official a10...

Has anybody been able to download and install Android 10 using this app? It's been a while at this point and looks like OP abandoned it's development It did work for me before to update pie to latest version btw after some tinkering so that isn't the issue.

You posted this a while back but if you haven't followed through yet, there's a guide on here which you can follow to change finger print without unlocking bootloader/rooting. I think it's best to flash the latest raw rom afterwards.

I think there's a typo in the last bat file (fastboot.exet). Does that not affect the outcome of the procedure? I think it's supposed to wipe the device at the end but doesn't because of the typo

You were right it was fairly easy, although the original tutorial should have a warning that entering in edl mode causes the screen to go black and the phone completely unresponsive! Other than that it went smooth. You did an amazing job. Edit: well, actually, it still fails ;) I'll keep at it

I can't 'just change it' without rooting the phone, unless there's a way in unaware of. I was planning to do that once android q releases. Otherwise, it's just too much hassle with currently available untested methods. How do I do that HomerSp

It found and downloaded this time, but the update process itself fails, I tried twice. May be because my version is too old? It's the same if I download the update file manually and put it on root, phone detects it after reboot but unable to flash the update.

For me it's the same, unfortunately. Not sure what I could be doing wrong.
