I should've mentioned this earlier but I'm on lollipop , cricket model. I guess I should try out a marshmallow rom.

    Post Apps restarting

I didn't switch that setting in kernel adiutor. I just installed that app, went to low memory killer, Should I turn off adaptive low memory killer? Also which settings should I choose on the bottom to help with this? I factory reset it before I installed the rom.

    Thread Apps restarting

I just got this phone yesterday. I noticed that apps restart very quickly. Even after I restart my phone and open up three apps those apps restart when I open each up. Is this just due to the low ram in the phone? Does anybody have suggestions? I was on stock and on slim rom.

Post [dlpkgfile] LG G2 D800 AT&T lollipop update file

To be honest, I would suggest waiting for a flashable zip file. The instructions are in the threads that the OP provided and I just mentioned what you had to do. READ.

-Yes you need to have debugging enabled, that is mentioned nearly everywhere. Chmod =changing permissions. Download that adb program by chainfire. You will never get the OTA on your phone without flashing it or doing it this way since you don't have an AT&T sim card -
