1. Yes I should have mentioned, sorry 2. I did flash the kernel at the same time as the rom however I needed to go back through aroma and install the kernel without the rom, reinstalling the rom and kernel did not work.

Thanks for the suggestions, I've got it sorted now. A bit weird but I flashed Q11, then with your suggestion about the essential fixes I applied them (as I didn't earlier) and then just rebooted like Doc said to do. That got the IMEI back but I was then stuck in a lop of it saying sim card mode...

So I've just gone from Q8 to Q11 and once it booted it said my IMEI was empty, in the process of trying to get it back now so your post (hopefully) is helpful - although flashing Q11 and then restoring my Q8 vendor image doesn't work (didn't really expect it to though). How did you extract Q9's...

No worries, although I don't think I can help. I no longer use Messenger however I did used to be able to assign a colour of my choice to it, but who knows how the app has changed in the last couple of years. Not only that but I have a Note 10 now which has no led light :/ Sorry bud

Imo not great at all, Open Camera is somewhat better but nowhere near stock

Settings > Display > Advanced > Lock Screen Display > Always On It's sketchy but I can get it to work on mine (N976B), I turn it on with the quick tile and then it turns itself off, I turn it on again and play that game until it works (2nd time just then testing, 4th go last time)

I've been daily driving this for almost a month, the bugs aren't stopping me. The video audio thing is the only one that would but I've managed to sort it. In case anyone is interested I'm using Open Camera and went to Settings > Video Settings > Audio Source > Change from camcorder to default...

Does anyone else have problems with recorded videos, the audio plays back at twice the speed of the video and then runs out of audio half way through, tried stock camera and open camera, both the same?

This seems very similar to the issue I was having also - HERE I used Smali Patcher instead and that worked no problems (I only selected signature spoofing though as that's all I need)

Ahh thank you, much faster than downloading the full firmware for it. Flashed and back up and running without losing the files I need (time to backup :silly: ), also added bonus of no warning message on boot screen :good:
