I bought the same battery, except now they've amped up their claims to 2880mAh.

So I went and bought a battery like this: Desire HD High Capacity Gold Battery 2880mAh 3,7v. I Any experience on these? After reading stuff here I know it's probably fake. Here's to hoping a) it won't explode my phone and b) has even the capacity of the original battery.
