In chrome try going into settings>site settings and turning off the native ad blocker. I was having the same issue and it seems to work.

Yes but before I was rooted I used adb for the tiles app to get immersive mode.

I have an immersive mode tile and touch response is fine regardless of immersive mode as long as I have squeeze for assistant active.

I did too and touch registration was a dumpster fire. I turned it back on about 4 hours ago and haven't had a single issue. I also didn't have it on while on the developer preview and everything was fine. I manually flashed the November stable update and started having problems.

Quick question- do you have "squeeze for assistant" turned on?

Are you using Greenify? Same thing happened to me and removing Greenify stopped it.
