Thread Loud beep on pressing "End call" button

Hey all, I wonder if anyone has the same problem or knows a solution to this. After a certain amount of usage whenever I press the end call hardware button on my phone it gives out a very loud DTMF beep - anytime, not only when ending calls. It's really irritating. Usually a soft-reset...

solved OK, so after a bit of more googling I think I found the solution: In the registry search for the following: HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-xxxxxxxxxxx-xxxxxxxxxx-xxxxxxxxxx-1001\Software\Microsoft\Windows CE Services\AppMgr\Apps You will find several keys there, corresponding to software you...

... so basically what I'm saying is, if the installation finishes, there's no need to quickly unplug your PDA! If the update is finished on the PC, wait for a few seconds, take it out of the cradle, wait for it to boot up for the first time! Then do the hard reset!

nicknitro: 1st: if the installation is complete, WAIT FOR THE DEVICE TO BOOT FOR FIRST TIME. If the device has booted up, THEN do your first "real" hard-reset (as I described above). That is how I got it working.

... seems like I didn't do a PROPER Hard-reset. ALWAYS Hard-reset after update, otherwise you will end up like me! Press this combo until "Formatting PS" appears, and only release buttons then! This is where I went wrong!

Calendar + Contacts I installed the ROM without any problems, whatsoever. However, there are two rather annoying bugs that I can't seem to fix: 1) Calendar keeps giving me an error when I enter an appointment, saying: "An unexpected error has occured in this program" 2) Contacts - if I try...

Also, if I try to re-flash it using the official HP wm2003SE ROM, I get the following error message after a while (basically all other ROMs give me this, if update starts):

Thread iPaq HX2750 - screwed up Model ID & ROM version, can't upgrade

Hi all! Yesterday I d/l-ed the official HP wm5 upgrade package, containing the wm2003 downgrade. I started the upgrade process, it went into bootloader, then at 0.1% it froze, device became non-reactive (the USB port has some contact issues). A hard-reset solved it, the device work fine, but...
