I had the AT&T update app disabled with Package Disabler Pro since day one. Should I bother to take this update? Sent from the seventh galaxy on XDA Premium.

I'll thank you when your solution isn't to disable a feature I use all the time. I think it's more likely what the other poster said about my fingerprint being read.

Can anyone else confirm that while the phone is locked, you can double-click the home button to launch the camera, wait a few seconds, hit the back button, and the homescreen will appear without a fingerprint scan or pattern unlock?

That's what I've heard. That's my major issue with it. Samsung Pay was a big reason I wanted this phone.

Would it still have happened if you flashed that kernel-only Kali NetHunter zip? Or is that a bad idea to even try since it's a different model? He mentioned dm-verity not being an issue on custom kernels, or that could just be to stop it from boot looping.. Not sure if that would affect Knox...

I think I'm gonna wait till tomorrow and see if anything new develops (no pun intended) by then. It's 3 am here lol

Did you use Odin to install TWRP and/or SuperSU? Or just stock recovery? Oh and did you install the Kali NetHunter kernel? Just want to make sure that isn't required for that to make it work. Thanks in advance!

I don't care how it works now. I want to know how bad you can screw up a firmware flash and it'll still work.

How close to the hardware is that reset?
