hi everyone. i was wondering if this virtual gyroscope can make a good controller emulator for daydream vr. so phones without gyro can be the controller instead of being use as the headset viewer.

considering you can unlock the bootloader, ever think of erasing the config file via fastboot?

right now with the current version, even if you have magnetic sensor in your device, it still won't work. some (including me) claims it work on up down movements only, but it still quite laggy. no side to side. for me, that is still called "not working"

"up and down worked but no side to side". "tried latest version"... which is quite old already if considered as 'in development'. stop saying "up and down" already. so many post saying that. please read before posting. no need repeating what's already known.

i don't think there will be any future build for this version. you see, op already released cm14 and probably only working on that.

well, if you say it like that, i agree that there's newer version of android coming up. but you probably realize what page of this thread we are posting right now. that means there's still so much users using this rom and reporting their findings of bugs ( besides the thanks and appreciation to...

so that's it then for this rom? why the dev didn't try to perfect (well, nothing is perfect though) this rom instead of building another new one? at least make fixes for all the bugs users are experiencing with this rom. i'm not judging the op or anything, i myself don't have any skill to build...

and here i am with my kenzo trying to find a way to turn on the cell radio. because turning it on by way of 4636 won't work. ironic.

well, if it turned out that way, it's fine. i think what frazew tried to do is still amazing though. let alone a virtual gyroscope, i don't even have the slightest knowledge of making a module. so to frazew, if you can read this, two thumbs up for you man. you're a bad ass :good: :good:

indeed. but still i wonder how meizu managed to do it with their m2. the gyro in it is software gyro
