im not that experienced when it comes to rom baking so this might be a noob question, but now since there is an official ED12 gingerbread rom for the epic, can the cyanogen team just take some of the libs from that to make cm7 work?

nvm, ed12 sucks. the battery life is terrible, there are thousands of bugs, and the music player force closes on certain songs.

if your still working on this, it might be easier if you just take the official gingerbread rom for the galaxy s and try and port that to the epic. or if u want take it and take off touchwiz. im just saying, there is a gingerbread rom you can work from
