After much probing I found that my two microphone holes near the usb charging port were 95% stopped up causing very little sound going in. So I took a needle and carefully cleaned up the holes and called my son and he heard my call perfectly. Mission complete. Thanks guys for your input and help.

I have Note 4 AT&T 910a. The caller barley hears me when I make or receive calls. I need to put my phone on speaker for the caller to to hear me better. When I make a voice recording I hear my recording but not much. Can I boost up the volume in this area. Please help.
