Sad news. This is a great rom, I have used it exclusively for months. I wonder if there are any developers here who could take over and just release the monthly updated security changes. Or, can anyone else recommend a similar stock rooted rom as stable as this?

To Turn Ambient Display off: Go to Settings -> Display -> Ambient Display -> toggle off

If the phone is rooted with an unlocked bootloader, but still running stock will the OTA arrive? I have not installed anything custom. No rom, kernal, or anything else.

Who pushes the OTA, google or carrier? I just received my Nexus 5 from Google play. Out of the box it updated to 4.4.4 but now I'm waiting for 5.0. Unfortunately, I don't have a sim card yet, it is on order from Sprint. Would the OTA still arrive without a sim card in it? I am leaving it...
