Additional Info: In TWRP Recovery, the power button does wake the screen perfectly. So it seems like a software issue, but that is bizarre as i haven't made any changes to ROM or settings in six months. It would make more sense to be a hardware issue, seeing as i just had the phone all pulled...

Are you able to push stock firmware to the root, and update it in stock recovery? Just hold power and volume up when you turn it on. Does it go to recovery mode?
