Post Question [PSA] There are newer Nova Launcher apks available than on the play store

In general, I agree w/your sentiments. However, I don't begrudge them on what they've done (basically, selling the app to Branch Analytics). I'm sure the devs didn't make a rash decision & yes, in the end, I'm sure $$$ was a major consideration. In that regard alone, good for them...

Post Question One UI 5 Beta?

FWIW, I have a T-Mobile S22 Ultra that I fully flashed to the US Unlocked version (XAA) & the Samsung Members app still recognizes it as a T-Mobile device. As I mentioned in another thread, I am on the One UI 5 Beta, so, I can guess that the T-Mobile &/or US Unlocked versions are currently...

    Post Question post-flashing concern

It's all right here: https://www.androidpolice.com/how-to-install-one-ui-5-beta/ No data is lost on the upgrade, just as with any stable Android update, but, if you do decide to roll back to Android 12, it will reset your phone. @vvrrare If you use any GoodLock modules, some have not been...

    Post Question post-flashing concern

It hasn't come out yet for the US Unlocked model, AFAIK. FWIW, if you jump on the One UI 5 Beta (Android 13),it's on the August 2022 security patch.

Post Question [PSA] There are newer Nova Launcher apks available than on the play store

FWIW, the last version of Nova that doesn't have the Branch Analytics code is 8.0.1 Nova 8.0.2 & above is the 1st version published w/Branch Analytics.

Post Question [PSA] There are newer Nova Launcher apks available than on the play store

I saw that as well (the opt-in on the analytics). Perhaps needlessly & unwarrantedly so, I'm still leery of updating. The best move they made was when they partnered with Razer, how cool that was to have Nova as the stock Launcher (nice phone). Whenever Nova 7.x becomes incompatible, I...

Post Question [PSA] There are newer Nova Launcher apks available than on the play store

Not having any problems with Nova 7.x on my P6P, or, any other devices I have (Samsung/OnePlus/ Nokia) & to the best of my memory, never have, at least as far as smoothness/etc. I'm guessing a lot of people are hesitant to "upgrade" to Nova 8.0,count me in that group ...

Post Question T-Mobile and Verizon s22u same frequency bands?

I looked on this site for possible hardware (antenna) differences & it seems to indicate all US Models are identical in that regard: https://phonedb.net/ (formerly PDADB.net & IIRC,the site is affiliated/owned/etc... by XDA). I know there are other mfgs that have carrier-specific (VZW)...

Post Question T-Mobile and Verizon s22u same frequency bands?

@Nickdroid86 It appears that they have the same hardware. However, & I'm not sure about this, but, if you're still running T-Mobile firmware, you might want to switch to VZW's firmware, or, run the US Unlocked firmware. Again, I'm not sure if the firmware is going to make a difference...

Post Question T-Mobile and Verizon s22u same frequency bands?

Yes, they have different bands & VZW's 5G coverage isn't anywhere close to T-Mobile's, so, that doesn't surprise me that you aren't on 5G most of the time on VZW. https://www.droid-life.com/2022/03/01/us-wireless-carrier-bands-gsm-cdma-wcdma-lte-verizon-att-sprint-tmobile/

Post Question Gorilla Glass Victus lots of micro scratches

This brand has been around for several years & is reasonably priced: https://whoosh.com/products/diamond-defense Spigen makes a similar product & is priced within a few dollars of the abovementioned protector. You'll find less expensive on Amazon/eBay & you should be OK w/whichever you choose.
