Found a workaround. Flashing the naked .img files manually via fastboot works.
Hello SuperR
I managed to modify updater-script so the flash process runs without visible errors (red text in twrp).
But the next problem is a boot loop after flashing the rom with twrp.
recovery log says:

Yes, you are right. My personal guess would be, they just bump up the security patch level and thats it. But its nice to have the latest numbers in "About Phone", although its mostly psychological :D
Nope. Sony do not allow re-locking bootloader. The black screen is in the kernel. You can try build your own kernel from sources with Sony Open Devices Program, but even then i am not sure you can remove the black screen.
I personally have FlashTool installed on my PC. It brings the possibility to install Sony-specific USB drivers (flashtool/drivers).
Or you can try Official Sony Drivers (2. Install the device drivers and platform tools), though never used these
You can use Newflasher here on XDA. Download it, unpack to a new directory, copy all firmware files and the boot directory to this directory, connect your phone in Download Mode and run Newflasher as admin. Answer "n" two times and wait a bit...
Just checked Android File Host, there are only older firmwares below 5.59. XperiFirm have only one 5.59 - Commercial and Journalists. You can use this one.
