Can we get more information on this build so we know what we are flashing? What did you put in and take out compared to stock?

] That's odd. Maybe you could try uninstalling some apps or factory reset to check if you still have the problem with nothing else added on. Some apps can really cause problems.

I've had this phone for about a month now. I use it extensively and I've messed around with a lot of stuff. I haven't had a single problem, much less a freeze. Either you all got bad phones, or it's user error.

Do you have the same problem with the stock keyboard, or do you only have issues with custom keyboards?

You don't have to use TiBu. Any app that freezes apps can be used to fix this. I haven't heard of any other fixes for it yet though. Just freeze SEAndroid.apk.

I've had several of Samsung's phones all with amoled screens and I've never had any problems with them. I haven't even heard of that happening, which doesn't mean it's impossible, but it's probably fairly unlikely that you will have that issue on the S4.

I came over to the S4 from the S2 on Sprint. I ran CM for a little bit about a year and a half ago when it first got ported. Looking forward to CM getting accepted for this device. Thanks for the great work guys :D.

I've used Triangle Away on two E4GT's, one with the brick bug and one without. Never had a problem. I tried it on GB and ICS, but the thread says it's not compatible with JB.

I've had the best experience running MIJJ'z Goodness and they just updated to FI25. Great battery, tons of mods and themes. After that Blu Kuban was pretty awesome too. I didn't really use CM9 but all of the other roms I've used have been about the same. If CM9 doesn't have an option or mod to disable the boot animation or if you can't find an app that's compatible, there's something else you can try. Using a root explorer, go to /system/media/bootanimation.zip...
