Post Experience sharing: P6800 Hong Kong version HW with Open Austra Firmware

Yes, use Odin (PC version, v1.85) to flash P6800ZSLA2 and you don't need to have root to do that.

Post New ICS build for the GT-P6800 (3G + Wifi) - Hong Kong

Same here, so you are not alone. Tried everything (FXR Wifi Fix & Wifix Manager apps, hotfix, full wipe, flashing LA2 modem while on Austrian/HK ICS firmware, trying out different router settings, etc.), but nothing really helped with the WiFi problem except going back to HC.

Post Avoid changing DPI settings on Galaxy Tab 7.7 (and other things to look out for)

Android Market apk On Galaxy S and Galaxy S II, it is alright to manually replace the stock Android Market apk in the /system/app/ folder with an updated version of the Market apk using root explorer. However, with GTab 7.7, doing so does NOT work and Market will force close when you try to...

Post [TUTORIAL] Root your Galaxy Tab 7 Plus P6200/P6210/SGH-T869 & Galaxy Tab 7.7 P800

I can confirm this rooting method does NOT increase the custom binary counter. I'm interested to know how to unroot - just in case I need to send the device to Samsung for maintenance, I'll need to unroot it beforehand.

Post Just got Galaxy Tab 7.7 - what do people want to know?

Anyone tried playing YouTube videos in a browser in Galaxy Tab 7.7? I've tried stock browser and Dolphin Browser, but neither seems to be able to play YouTube videos. (I was able to do so when I was using Galaxy S II without the YouTube app.) The latest version of Adobe Flash Player is...

Post [Q] WIFI rare problem on Galaxy S2

I had the exactly same problem (see my posts in the above), and tried everything before sending it to Samsung's CS Center for repair. I was told it was a hardware issue and the circuit board had to be replaced. I got my phone back from the CS Center two days ago with a new circuit board on it...

Post [Q] WIFI rare problem on Galaxy S2

Samsung's CS Center called me this afternoon saying that something is wrong with the hardware, requiring replacement of circuit board. They estimated the replacement would take 1-2 weeks as they are running out of curcuit boards at the moment (I doubt if it is the real reason).

Post [Q] WIFI rare problem on Galaxy S2

Yes, I have sent my phone to Samsung's CS Center for repair earlier today. The CS representative was not able to tell me on the spot what is causing the problem but said they would have technicians inspect it. Supposedly, I can get my phone back in the next couple of days and will keep you posted.

Post [Q] WIFI rare problem on Galaxy S2

I'm having exactly the same problem since last week. It just occurred all of a sudden. Tried factory reset (hard and soft), firmware upgrade, different ROMs, and the FXR WiFi fix and rescue app to no avail. I've called Samsung's CS hotline and they advised me to take my phone to their service...
