Safely stop system updates? Is there anyway of safely disabling my mothers Nexus 7 from downloading updates, or simply disabling the notification for said updates . She has a habit of just tapping on whatever shows up.

Navigation bar missing. I'm at a loss. Spent hours flashing and wiping and reflashing CLEANROM. Everytime there's no navigation bar. Could anybody point a fool right direction?
