Personally don't have any issues whatsoever with Android 10 - Magisk, kernel, and all. Though its true that if you're on pie there's no point in upgrading. Only added feature that you might enjoy is ever so slightly more customization and android 10 navigation gestures, that's it.

I don't know how to fix your issue but I can say that my Oneplus 7 is also rooted with magisk and it does not do that. Although when I try to charge my powered off phone it gets stuck on the bootloader unlocked warning screen until i reboot it with power button + vol up.

I'm currently using the dbrand grip case and I absolutely love it. It's grippy, slim, and customizable, though maybe on the more expensive side.

From personal experience, I would not recommend the tempered glass protector from gadgetshieldz. Had lifting around the camera and bottom corners. Applying pressure around those areas and releasing makes an audible pop

Been using the rom for the past week now. Seems wicked stable and battery life is pretty good. I can easily last the day with moderate use and still have about 30% left. Theming is a little jank as well as the adaptive brightness at times but otherwise would definitely recommend this rom to...
