Post [ROM] [Lollipop] [V0.5] [06/28/2015] FreedomROM

Did Droidraz announce plans to work on an update to this ROM? Where does the reference to him working on a port to BOG5 come from? Thanks!

Post Manual Update using ota ( 5.01)

That appears to be the case... no root. I can't launch a root shell, even at boot. I flashed the SuperSU (v1.94) zip via TWRP. I used the UNOFFICIAL-openrecovery-twrp-2.8.0.0-lenok.img for TWRP. SuperSU still crashes when I try to launch it from the watch, also. What actually achieves root...

    Post 5.0 Update news!

What about Root? My watch downloaded the update, however, I'm rooted and running TWRP. Can anyone confirm that we will retain root with the update?

Post [Root] Root and TWRP for R

Slight variation for me It looks like I had an even different experience. For me, I could not get TWRP to flash using step 7 and 8. I had to issue the command "fastboot boot recovery.img" (or, if you haven't renamed the file, "fastboot boot UNOFFICIAL-openrecovery-twrp-2.8.0.0-lenok.img")...

Post [Q] Does it work with S-Health ?

No, but that may change in the future. Now that Samsung has an Android Wear smartwatch, they have hinted at expanding. Seems like a matter of time. On a side note, the Endomondo app seems to work pretty well, if you need a stop-gap in the meantime.

    Post [Q] Screen protector

I tossed it a week later, it never really settled out. It had too many imperfections that were visible at an angle. With the screen on, looking straight on to the watch, it looked perfectly fine, but when it was at an angle and light hit, you could see all the imperfections. It made the watch...

Post [Q] Very bad battery life? help!

I used to have bad battery life. I would get about 12 hours with my device. When I got it, I played heavily with it, and ended up enabling bluetooth debugging. I didn't think much of it, but later when trying to solve my battery issues, I disabled bluetooth debugging and now I get about 2.5-3...

    Post [Q] Screen protector

ArmorSuit MilitaryShield - No Go I installed the ArmorSuit MilitaryShield screen protector for the G Watch R, and it is pretty disappointing. It is all hyped up and packaged as if it is premium, but the soft plastic cover is far from premium in application. There are a bunch of tiny pits and...

Post [MOD] Enable Stock Hotspot on Verizon

I think I learned this lesson as well. Rather than edit the Run.sh script, I executed the commands via ADB and copied the framework file. I got the reboot, but was never able to get past the Verizon logo. Tried clearing Dalvik Cache, even factory reset, nothing worked. Ended up having to use...
