Thanks! Indeed, i didn't have my SIM card in the phone. Slipped it in and took the update without a hitch!

Post AT&T H810 Back to Stock Guide (TOT Method)

I just used this method to return to stock. I was on rooted H810 10o. I now want to take the OTA to MM, but both the OTA and LG Bridge are saying my phone is up to date (it is actually on 5.1). Should the OTA show up immediately, or do I need to wait a couple of days? Note: I forgot to unfreeze...

Post [Q] Loss of wifi connection problem on 5.1?

Well it looks like I found the solution to 5ghz dropping. I changed my phone to a static IP address on my network, and reserved it on my router, and haven't had any issues since. Just make sure to use your actual DNS server provided by your ISP when setting up your phone, not the Google DNS...

Post [Q] Loss of wifi connection problem on 5.1?

My G4 (H810) has always had problems maintaining a 5ghz connection. I've tried each channel available in my Nighthawk R7000 but it still stops working. Google will tell you this is a common problem. Let me know if you figure it out. Sent from my LG-H810 using Tapatalk

    Post Marshmellow update problems

Just to pitch in my 2 cents, I am having all of the issues here after updating, too. Screen delay when turning on, notifications don't turn on screens, and screen won't stay off when charging and in theater mode. What an awful update! Sent from my LG-H810 using Tapatalk

Anything in /system will be overwritten when you flash back the unrooted system image, so the app_process64 file really shouldn't be an issue. It's whatever is left in other partitions that indicate root was once there that is the problem. Sent from my LG-H810 using Tapatalk

Post Root Checker Tool (RCT) Analysis

I noticed that file last night while I was poking around. Not too sure what it does. I also noticed /data/.flashfire was left behind too. However, both of those should be cleared after a factory reset (which I haven't done), but a FR didn't help others. So I am currently trying to figure out...

Post Root ANY LG G4 Variant 100% Success Directives | Root Injection | Less Bricks

Thinking about it, it probably worked because much of the system partition is empty space, especially the back end of it. So when you forcefully restart your phone, you have a complete image of your system, but the partition is not complete (hence the file size not being big enough). The same...

Post Root ANY LG G4 Variant 100% Success Directives | Root Injection | Less Bricks

LEAVE will always work! If it doesn't, it hasn't actually finished copying the system image, even if you see a #. I've noticed sometimes the # comes back way too quickly. When that happens, I give it another 30-45 seconds (go get a cup of water - it's good for you :)) and then type LEAVE. The...

Yeah, I was able to flash a clean persist image. See this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=63448788 However, after trying to take the OTA, I looked at /persist/rct again and the flag had been tripped again. Sent from my LG-H810 using Tapatalk
