I tested 360 wireless and it works. Using microsoft wireless dongle for PC plugged into an ethernet usb hub plugged into usb OTG. Ethernet and xbox controller both work well.

Is there a way to get the player to turn on the tv besides casting? Since the player comes with a remote it would be nice if I could just push a dang button and it would turn on the tv if it was off.... I think the home button should send tv wake command each time. Or instead if the nexus...

I've never launched google play movies and its still left-most. I've actually never seen them reorder themselves yet. Games and apps are in the order I installed them. Really hope they make a "rearrange" option.

Mine drops pretty regularly in all apps. It's about once every 30 seconds. I have a 20ft optical cable coming out of my TV and I thought maybe there was some degradation going that far in optical. My other players don't have the problem though. I will try output to just TV and see if that still...

So I'm guessing its not possible, but I didn't try, don't really want to. But looks to me like in Lollipop you have to enable OEM unlock in the dev settings similar to enabling usb debug. Nexus Player doesn't have the option to enable OEM unlock in the dev settings.

I was recently told how I can turn recommendations off per app, but after i turn them all off there is still a row on the top, it just says it can't find recommendations now. Pretty dumb. Anyone know how to get rid of the row or how to change the order of the applications? Seems like we need a...

Oh crazy, thanks. I saw that setting but I didn't think notifications = recommendations. Totally works though.

In the review on Gizmodo they said you can turn off the recommendations per app but I can't find it anywhere. Can anyone find it?
