I would recommend downloading the 955U software, you can follow the steps in this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/att-galaxy-s8+/how-to/sprint-released-oreo-s8-s8-flashing-t3915872 and instead of using SPR in the Region section on SamFirm use TMB, this is the way I was able to update it...

Where you able to update it? Or are you still having issues?

This seems to have worked, I used the steps on the first page using SamFirm and instead of using SPR, I used TMB, then used the HOME_CSC file. Nothing got wiped and I just got android pie now

YES, that worked perfectly :good:! I had tried before updating to RB9 and had the same error that I had with RC5, but I didn't have the USERDATA file and with that it worked flawlessly, maybe that's why I couldn't update straight to RC5 and I needed the USERDATA file for that one ----------...

No, nothing yet. I've tried updating to RB9 or RC5 and the same error. I've also used modded odin and normal odin 3.13.1 Any idea bboii86?

I matched them up like you said but I'm still getting the same error, I'm trying to update from an older version so I'm using Home CSC, but I also tried the normal one. Maybe it's because I'm in an older version? Im trying to upgrade from QGL (Aug 2017)

Have you been able to update the android version? What version were you coming from?

BTW, does the ADB update wipe the phone?

Well, can't say I did anything special. Updates were pending on windows so I waited for them to finish and restarted the computer. After that did the same thing before with 3.12.5 (using the 5 files) and it worked perfectly.

Well I just tried again all five files with QG1 and it seems to have worked.
