Sigh... Yes, very annoying indeed. Others have suggested it's a hardware issue... I'm not quite sold on that though.,... I tried stock too but that didn't work either. :(

Sigh....unfortunately, no. I just leave system sounds on and as soon as I notice I don't hear those sounds, I reboot..... Thankfully, the sound doesn't crap out *that* often :mad:

I think I've pinpointed the problem. I left the phone on airplane mode all day and the sound hasn't disappeared at all. I'm guessing it has something to do with the wifi issues others have been having with an incorrect bootloader/modem. *EDIT* I've flashed stock i337mvlugoh1 (newest 5.0.1)...

I've now rooted the phone, installed TWRP, flashed a couple of ROMs but the problem is still there.... Anyone with some kind of suggestion?
