    If you are talking about recovering the data from the sdcard itself, it's dead dead. Not readable, on a PC anyway. All I have is an .img file on my PC which hopefully contains the pictures that I am trying to get back. I'd like the app data as well if at all possible.

Fortunately (I hope), the Controlbear software created a file called sdcard.img in a Juopunutbear folder that is about 50MB in size.     Well, so far I have smoked one SD Card. The wire-trick seems to have toasted it. It's sad that the only reason I am even doing this is because of Apple and their sue happy team of lawyers. How can hyperlinks in email be patented? Every operating system ever has had hyperlinks.
