Thanks for the tips. I also was able to set another app as default sms app but I always get the Hint popup when receiving a text message. Does someone know how to disable these hints ? com.android.mms does not get to be set as default app but the hint popup is annoying. Forgot to mention: tried...

It's gone from bad to worse. Was fully charged, turned the phone off. Turned it back on...only about 15% left. Must be bad battery quality. Now once again the red light or blinking red light. I think it's some kind of protection when a bad battery is detected....

defective/damaged charger flex cable ?

I had my x526 get very hot while charging. Had to let it cool down a long time. Then it had red blinking light. Ultimately could turn it on again. But now it's only charging from usb port from laptop/pc, not from wall charger... Any ideas/solutions ? Thx

I want to create a tasker shortcut to toggle softkeys on the home screen because with the softkeys on QR readers have garbled camera image. I have class and package for tasker 'send intent' but with only these 2 items it does not work. I need something more to make it work.

Do you have the tasker code to toggle navigation bar ? I know it uses: Package: com.android.systemui Class: com.android.systemui.NavbarTog*gle But what do I need to use as action ?

I installed paranoidandroid_hd2_v1.5b . When I tried installing a qr code reader and started the app, I only get a garbled image (vertical lines and squashed together). When I open camera app I have a perfect image. Does someone know how to fix this ?
