So, I am on the HTC Deluxe (Off-Branded CDMA), and I only see Verizon information, and not off-branded carriers. I am wanting to root my device, but so far, I can't find any information on other carriers, just Verizon. If anyone could help, that would be amazing.

Yes, they are trying to charge me for a collect call and no, they can't activate it because it's a "hacked" phone. Also, I don't have U.S. Cellular, I have Appalachian Wireless. I need either ROM or FTF to make it work.

I know how to activate a phone. I can not activate due to carrier wanting to charge for collect calls in *228 and *22801

I can't do the *228 update to update it. It counts as a collect call. I can deal with the .ZIP also.

Verizon uses a completely different activation method than U.S. Cellular and Appalachian Wireless. I have already edited APN's and everything I needed to edit. I can't activate.
