I deleted it from /data/adb/modules/SanFrancisco_Fonts/system and the phone boots normally with v3.0 - I guess there's something you changed in the script that copies it.

Found the problem I think. The file "placeholder" is being copied with 3.0, but not 2.5.

Can't install in Magisk or TWRP, just says install failed. TWRP reports "Error 1".

Latest version 3.0 is broken on Galaxy S8. Phone won't boot until I delete magisk.img.

I updated using a 64GB exFAT SD card and it worked fine. You have to flash CRL3 first. I used CRL3 UK firmware and then updated to 9.0. I'm with Optus and lost VoLTE but I can deal with that for a couple of months until the official AU version is released.

Good news for me (and anyone else using Galaxy S8 with USB audio), works again with Android Pie, but also requires USB Policy Patcher & Audio Modification Library to be installed.

I'm guessing still no way of getting it to work with Galaxy S8 Oreo and USB DAC? It worked with Nougat but I can't go back to that now. Downloaded some apps in Magisk that are meant to fix it but nothing helped.

Galaxy S8. Was working on Android 7.0 but can't get the USB DAC working on 8.0. Says Supported when using the headphone jack and everything works fine, but says Unsupported with the Dragonfly Red connected. Currently trying to find a solution...

Oh ok, I understand now. My carrier is yet to release AQG5...or maybe they'll jump straight to 7.1, we'll have to wait and see. In that case I'm unable to say whether stereo recording is broken or fine in AQG5. Maybe you can indicate to people that v4 is the best version to use for AQF7 and v5...

I'm not exactly sure what v4 breaks, as it seems fine to me. I tried your v4 with Samsung Camera 7.0.93 and 7.1.00 and nothing appears to be broken. The video is fine and the audio is stereo. I can't really explain why people need the changes from v5 when v4 is working for me.

Hi, thanks for looking into it. Unfortunately it didn't fix it. As you know, there's a mic at the top of the phone for left channel and a mic at the bottom for right channel. With this mod, it disables recording of the top mic and only uses the bottom mic. I'll have a bit more of a look into...
