Thread Sprint M8 s-off, rooted, supercid, unlocked, want to work on Verizon, can do ??

i guess the title asks it all. This one is wide open but I want to use it on VZW instead of Sprint. Anybody ever done it ? I grabbed a file from another thread and followed the instructions, renamed file, went to hboot, got response: wrong zipped image. Any ideas ???

Here is a new one I hope someone has seen and fixed: My M8 was working perfectly, rooted but not s-off, stock ROM, not allowed to update or anything. One day out of the blue I tried to call someone on the phone, had full signal, but when I pushed SEND signal went away, said call failed, and...

Thread [Q] Root lost, no recovery, all tools gone, help fix my rezound please

I do not know how but some update hit my rezound the other day and took away root. All I had ever done to it was root it a long time ago, never did a custom recovery or s-off just wanted android wi-fi tether to work. When this update hit it took root and now all the threads I find are old with...

Post WiFi Tether on official ICS OTA

His settings did not work for me but setting to generic ICS made the 4G or 3G bounce every time it tried to pass data, until I turned on the router fix option and now all is good ;)

Post broken port need s-on before i send back to vzw

have to do this,,,, hboot was replaced with revolutionary, so running a stock RUU should put it back. s-off is unlocked NAND and signing, so although part of root, is not root in itself. A stock RUU 'can' put s-on back but I am not sure for sure if it does. It is really just setting of some...

Think it is fixed but will see I started reading about airpush and looked with root explorer for any file with airpush references and found that the Kernel Manager Lite program in BAMF has a file that makes mention of it so I have uninstalled that app as I do not use it anyway, lets see what...

Post [Q] BAMF 1.6.3 Advertisments on notification bar ?

The question remains So does anyone know who is spamming the operating system and how ???? Thats like working on a spreadsheet and having commercials pop up in the middle of it, totally unacceptable. As I said before, ads on apps are ok because thats how they generate revenue and are deserving...

Thread [Q] BAMF 1.6.3 Advertisments on notification bar ?

Greets all, I used the search bar first because I assumed someone had already addressed this, but found nothing so it is either so obvious so I am stupid not knowing. I have started getting a red star with a white outline on my notification bar and they are stupid ads. I have the native ad...

    Post Thunderbolt for home ISP

Engenius EOR7550 does it I start out by saying please do not everyone start dumping your fixed ISP bandwidth needs on the TB because it will cause problems from system and bandwidth issues to policy changes with how VZW deals with all of us, resulting in a bad experience with a good system...

    Post LTE extended

Try this Go into EPST and set your REV-A to enabled instead of the stock eHRPD, as the algorithm has trouble in some locations. I had the same and even somtimes could not lock to either 3 or 4g until i did, made me think the device was bad but is ok now.

Post What is the small circle on the back?

Antenna connector it is I think the rep from HTC asked someone in the room who also did not know or purposly provided false data to discourage tampering. I think the lady just did not know. I poped it off the day I got it and found that I do have a connector in my kit that fits it from wilson...
