So I flashed snuzzo's 2.5 kernel last night, which required that I wipe dalvik. This morning, my phone is running cool in my pocket. Not sure if it was the wiping or the kernel (since I did them at the same time), but it "looks" like my problem might be solved. Thanks for all the help.

It says I am on funkybean 2.4. I did not change any of the kernel settings from default. I would not have said anything since I have only been using the ROM for 12 hours, but it is acting the same as infection. 3 hours battery life and warm/hot the whole time. I am s-off. Not sure what to do.

I seem to have the same problem with this ROM as infection. Flashed last night, but now my phone runs warm/hot with the screen off in my pocket. There are no wakelocks of consequence. MHF1.1 was giving me infinite battery life. Is it possible there is something with 4.2.1 that does not agree...

Mostly I am using the funky kernel that came with the rom. However, I also flashed Shrike's and WebOS's kernel last week, but the phone was still warm with screen off. I only used those kernels for 1 full day though (installed kernel at night, charged overnight, and used the phone the next day).
