Pardon me for sounding ignorant/stupid, but how do I open WebOS Doctor? It's a .jar file and I'm unsure what to do with it.

UPDATE: All links have been fixed following the take take down of MegaUpload etc.

I shall try and update the guide at the end of January to fix these problems (the goldcard link and ensuring all files are deleted on the mSD card)

Yes, I have used various different brands of memory cards whilst rooting.

Try re-creating the Gold Card.

ClockworkMod has been updated to version 5 officially for all HTC Legend owners. Unless you have S-OFF Sent from my HTC Legend using xda premium

Added another guide with some advice on choosing ROM's. I'm also working on a simple un-root guide.

Make sure you have HTC Sync version 2.0.33 installed and any previous versions of HTC Sync are un-installed.
