So, I still have this issue and I wasn't able to solve it. Pretty much the phone only charges, doesn't get recognized by any computer. I also tried my laptop and same thing happens. How do I find out if it's a hardware issue? Is there any way to save the phone?

Yes, I updated the drivers too. I tried uninstalling the google drivers and everything you mentioned. No the notification doesn't show up and my device doesn't show up on device manager. I am running windows 10 latest update.

So basically I searched everywhere and found many people with this issue. I tried everything everyone said. From installing the drivers, to turning on developer mode. Also fastboot mode is not working. I hope my is not a hardware issue. I tried a new cable with the same results. Anything else...

Yeah, I got it to work, I think I installed the kernel first then the gapps. Then it worked fine. The time I got that issue I installed the kernel last. I am not sure if that caused it but everything is fine now! Cheers. Also I got another question, for anyone really. Basically, I am trying...

Hello, thanks for your work! I did a clean flash, flashed francokernelr56 (it previously worked on the rom), flashed gapps nano. However, now my gapps keep crashing. Is there a problem with franco kernel now?

I can't get it to work. The driver shows abnormal status. I used magidisk because it wouldn't recognise the built in supersu. Any help will be appreciated! I also use the io fix apk with no luck. Edit: I got it to work. I forgotten to set the selinux permission to permissive.

Yeah, I am also curious about that. A friend has the old one. He didn't apply the latest ota. So I assume it should be safe since he disabled the WIFI. I made a new thread with the question.
