That Sandisk USB type-c flash drive is a piece junk, extremely slow to transfer files /pics/videos from the phone and become warm->hot. I have a 128gb version that just sit on my desk while I type this reply.

Only Note 8. Never had this issue in my iPhone6s plus, Huawei, lepro 3 and etc. Same issue with T-Mobile Note 8 , stock rom . It randomly appears without any relationship of mobile signal strength.

Goto setting - display then turn off adaptive setting. If your brightness bar can change that means your le pro sensor is working.
