Well, you're right. AOSP Extended is a Nijel8-based ROM even if it's AOSP-based too. I tried to edit kernel configuration by init.qcom.power.rc file in kernel ramdisk, but there is cpu.conf file on system/etc/cpu, and when I edit that file, zRAM and hotplug are working fine, no need to patch...

Such an excellent kernel! It's rock solid and I have the best battery life of all kernels I used so far. It was great to have 60% at the end of the working day (usually I have 50% left or less, I also upgraded to latest LOS Nijel8, so that's good too). Also, this kernel has very good zRAM usage...

+1 for NitrogenOS! Really great ROM where you have everything you need and nothing else, and AOSP base that I prefer. Paranoid Android also sounds good, I used it on different device at the times of Android 4.4. Not sure is it's still that good nowadays, but sounds good.
