I finally got this to work....
I have the Boostmobile CDMA XT1031 variant and I am running Stock 4.4.4.+Xposed.
I had to manually set the permissions of that bootanimation file of yours to: rwxr-xr-x.:eek:
All that work to get the Android L boot animation to work on stock!:rolleyes:
Finally got it to work.
I was having the same problem, not eligible to be unlocked.
I unlinked the motorola user id in the settings on the phone and logged in the website with the motorola id and it worked.
Every other time I tried logging in with my google account it would not work.
