Its a refurbished F500. Keep F500 V11D 5.1 firmware, disable its big cores, root it to use G4 4 core activator and that is it. Marshmallow has locked bootloader, so rooting will not be possible, to use G4 4 core activator for bootloop fix. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk

I tried Google camera app and its blur effect long ago, it worked alright, but nowadays, i cannot find Google camera in play store.

Majority, almost all smartphone cameras have fixed focal length. So does P9. DOF can be achieved naturally by variable focal lengths (like DSLR lens), or artificially by using dual cameras with fixed variable lengths. However, dual cameras DOF is fake software blur.

Depth of field (bokeh) can only be simulated by dual cameras in a smartphone or macro shots. I owned Huawei P9, it would not simulated DOF if one of the two cameras were covered. Same is for iPhone 7 Plus.

Not possible without dual cameras.

Afterfocus app is the closest alternative.

What is the 'apply on boot' timings on newer version? I think it should be set to instant (least delay). Using latest version of it and it's running great. Apply on boot settings seems to be working better than previous version.

I did it. Changes were made, but apps compatibility issue was there. Apps kept crashing. Anything below 540 DPI was causing instability.

Thanks. I rooted F500 by downgrading to Lollipop. I tried your app and it was working well. However, one suggestion is to add 'apply on boot' option if possible, so that it automatically activates 4 cores after restart. Then your app will be a complete package.

I want to set my screen resolution to FHD. What Height, Width, & DPI should be set for G4 to keep everything as same size and layout as original. Which application to use for such purpose? I tried to do mine, but i did not have good idea of which values to choose, so i was having scaling issues.
