Post Flashable Modem Zips [All G2 Variants]

Any potential in using these, or another method to enable full band support, ala the Note 2 supporting both AT&T and T-Mobile bands (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2068041)?

Post [ROOT] Root your G2 [ATT|VZW|TMO|KT|RGS|BELL|TELUS|OPEN] [Yay!]

This didn't work on my fresh out-of-the-box T-Mobile (USA) G2. Just like LarSing a few posts above, I ended up downloading the drivers from LG for my PC; I ran the exploit and everything appeared to work, SuperUser is installed, the trigger in Download mode says rooted, but I don't have actual...

I'll chime in that I too have this issue. It's pretty annoying.

Thanks however that frags CM10 as well, on my phone at least.

Based on their previous question, I'm pretty sure they were asking how about to get GPS working with the latest CM10 build's standard kernel since using a custom kernel on newer CM10 builds results in a failed boot / boots to black screen. That said, I have the same question.

I've been unable to send/receive MMS messages for a while now running CM9 nightlys. I thought I could in earlier builds I've already done full wipe/flash. Does anyone know of a solution? Thanks.

    Post [REQ] SC02C DIY Unlock

FWIW, I took my phone to the US and tossed in a AT&T SIM and I ran the Galaxy S Unlocker from the Market. There is a risk of killing your SIM with the method this uses to unlock but since I had a prepaid SIM that I didn't care about I tried it. It successfully unlocked my SC-02C on the first try.

I'm in Okinawa, not mainland, but I don't have any reception issues with mine. Anyplace I don't have signal, others with feature phones do not as well. They seem to be the same.

Post [BOUNTY] $$$ for CyanogenMod on the Samsung Galaxy S2

 Count me in for $10,000 but only if little people deliver it to me a USB drive, shaped like a zebra, while riding a unicycle, on a 3rd Wednesday of the month. They must also have with them a 5 lb bag of blue M&Ms, pulled and sorted from larger bags, none of this cheating and buying...

The phone should work, I've used quadband phones with softbank prepaid SIM before, but I haven't tested the GS2 to verify -- wait for someone smarted on the GSM bands to come along and verify. I'm sure you'll need to change the APN information, but that's available available at...
