Just bought a g2 and am thinking of rooting to enable the auto hide of the on screen menu buttons. So correct me if im wrong but if all i do is root, leave the stock rom and do nothing apart from root i will still get ota updates.

Can i put the md5 file on the phone and flash via cwm ??

I rooted my note 3 but now want to flash the latest firmware however every time i try to do it via odin it keeps failing. Anyone know why this is happening ........:confused:

does the bootloader need to be unlocked to flash these roms. Im rooted but bootloader inst unlocked.

I'm getting the keyboard change on reboot again,it wasn't happening on LI6. Also don't know if it could make a difference but my signal seems not to be as strong on LI8. Thinks its back to 6 for me. Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
