    Great, I appreciate the advice. Just to confirm: the original adhesive will no longer be enough to reseal the display, and I should scrape away the old adhesive and add the 2mm tape correct? Thanks for your response.

    Did you manage to use 2mm double sided tape to reseal your screen? I'm about to replace my battery and wanted to see how the 2mm tape held up over time. Thanks!
